Answer: Our couscous meals are freshly prepared in small batches using high-quality vegetables and authentic spices. Unlike typical frozen partially cooked meals, our couscous products are ready in minutes, preservative-free, and maintains its natural texture and flavor.

3. What is HPP (High Pressure Processing) and how does it work?
Answer: High Pressure Processing (HPP) is an advanced food safety technology that uses very high pressure to reduce harmful bacteria without heat or chemical preservatives. This process helps maintain the food’s natural taste, texture, and nutritional value, while improving safety and shelf life.
4. How does HPP extend the refrigerated shelf life of your couscous products?
Answer: When combined with skin packaging and strict cold-chain control, HPP significantly reduces microbial activity, allowing our refrigerated couscous products to maintain quality and safety for a longer period than conventional ready-to-eat meals.
The exact shelf life is determined through validation testing and is clearly indicated on each package.
5. How do I reheat the couscous?
Answer: Microwave: Open the plastic film from one side to let the vapour out. Then, remove the plastic film and heat for 2 minutes if refrigerated or 5 minutes for frozen meals., stirring halfway. Oven: Preheat to 180°C (355°F) and heat in an oven-safe dish for 8–10 minutes if the product is refrigerated and for 20-25 minutes if the meal is frozen.
6. Are your couscous meals halal?
Answer: Our chicken and meat couscous meals are all halal-certified, and we provide ingredient lists on each product page.
7. Where do you deliver, and can I pick up my order?
Answer: Delivery: only in Ottawa–Gatineau region. Pickup: Available at selected local locations. Check the delivery/pickup page for details.
8. How are the couscous meals packaged?
Answer: Each couscous meals are skin packaged (airtight in high-quality containers) to maintain freshness. Skin packaging is designed for convenience, safe reheating, and minimal condensation.
9. Can I order in bulk for a party or office?
Answer: Yes! We accept bulk orders for events or offices. Contact us via the Retailer/Contact form to discuss quantities and delivery arrangements.
10. How do I become a retailer and sell your couscous products in my store?

11. Do you have a return or refund policy?
Answer: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately and we will provide a replacement or solution.
